Hitting the road hard with our takes on Halloween, All-Refor-Thanks-Fest, and the question whether or not it is appropriate to take immediate practical application from Jesus’ parables. The parable of the dishonest manager is one that is not so easy to exposit. It’s sandwiched between the parable of the prodigal son and the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, two parables that at a deeper level are about Israel… Is there something deeper going on with this parable and is there any application for us as businessmen and productive people?

Roe v. Wade has been overturned! It is a glorious day and it is time to praise God for his faithfulness. There’s more to do, but now is a time of celebration. There are common arguments that you are going to hear from the left/unbelievers in the battle ahead so let’s think through them now (miscarriages, poor kids, life of the mother, clump of cells, my body/my choice, women’s rights, wHite men & guns) with the understanding that the very first and primary reason for opposing abortion is that God says thou shalt not murder.

Roe v. Wade is poised to being overturned in the near future and the screeching has begun. Every Christian needs to be ready to give a reasoned defense not only for the hope that is in them but also for their pro-life/abolitionist values. Note: you cannot separate your values from your faith in Christ, it’s not possible.
Nathan and I talk through the current events related to Roe and Casey, and then dig deep into the philosophical underpinnings propping up the abortion discussion. We even introduce the end all be all apologetic to use against pro-choice (pro-abortion) aggressors. You’re going to love it.
